If a retaining wall is sloping down or buckling, it may be best to know how to level it to avoid problems in the future. Remove the amount of dirt behind the retaining wall that is causing the wall to lean. Move or push the layers back into place as much as possible. Heavy stone or concrete slabs should be moved with care to avoid any falling debris. Drill a core hole into the wall so it can take the shaft of the anchor. Drill additional holes into the wall as necessary, based on the height of the wall. Consider installing an anchor at every two layers of the wall. Guide in the anchor to the proper depth.
