How Do You Level A Kenmore Front Load Washer?
A common problem with washing machines is excess noise due to the washer not being level. In addition to the excess noise, the increased vibrations could eventually cause damage to some components of the washing machine or even any walls the machine is near. It’s best to level the machine as it’s being setup because you can move it around without having to contend with the water input and output hoses connected to the machine. Place the level on the top of the washing machine to see if it is level. Make sure you test it side to side and front to back. Pull the washing machine away from any walls if you have to make an adjustment to the legs. Lift the washer and place the wood block underneath the washer. Place the block near the leg that needs to be adjusted, but don’t let it obstruct the leg. Loosen the nut that secures the leg with the wrench.
