While more comic artists are starting to use digitized computer fonts for character dialogue, sound effects, and titles, many others still letter their pages the tried and true way – by hand. And then there are those geeks that create their own digitized fonts using graphics programs like Adobe Illustrator or Fontigrapher. as for me, I use both digitized and handmade lettering for my comics. Both of these sites also offer excellent tips for both comic book computer lettering and hand lettering. Also note that some of the fonts offered by Blambot are free.
