How Do You Learn To Cherish Family?
Every time you go to a funeral, you often hear the family members either talking about how they treasured every moment to the very end, or loved ones blaming themselves for not being able to express how they felt, or for not being able to treat them right…everything about the guilt trip. The importance of someone is usually recognized when that person is already gone. Let’s cut the chase. Now that you’ve realized how important your family is, it’s time to learn how to appreciate them even more. • Acknowledge your family’s imperfections. You can’t expect everybody to live up to your standards at all times. They are not items purchased from the mall, which you can always return and exchanged for better ones. If all your life, you did nothing but grumble about your family members, then think about this: you are wasting all your time and emotions on your complaints. Learn to forgive and forget. Past is past. Once you understand that nobody is ideal, you’ll feel a lot better and healthier
