How Do You Lay Sod & Prep Soil?
Before preparing the soil and laying sod, assess what your lawn needs and what type of grass is best to plant in your area. Sod grass varieties come in cool-season and warm-season grasses. Multiply the width by the length to find the square footage of sod you will need. Spray herbicide to kill any existing weeds or grass. Follow the directions on the herbicide label for use.
