Allow the flooring to acclimate to the room temperature and humidity at least 48 hours before installation. Set out the laminate flooring but make sure the boxes remain unopened. Heat the room to a temperature between 65 and 85 degrees. If the room is above 65 percent humidity or below 45 percent use a humidifier or dehumidifier to adjust it. Don’t stack the boxes any higher than a pile of three and keep at least 4 inches of space around them for good airflow. Keep the boxes out of direct sunlight and away from heat ducts.
