How Do You Launch A Model Rocket?
After building a model rocket, seeing it launch into the air is the next fun part. Launching a rocket is easy to do but it takes some time to prepare the launch area so the rocket is launch successfully while everyone involved in the launch stays safe. Find a large open area to launch the rocket from. A park or a large open field are good places to perform a launch. Make sure the launch area is clear of any overheard power lines or trees. Set the launch pad in the middle of the launch area. Carefully load the motor onto the rocket. For safety concerns, only use the motor the rocket came with. Using a larger motor can cause serious injury. Prepare the rocket by stuffing it with wadding if you’re using a rocket with a parachute recovery system. Then put the igniter in the rocket motor and cover it with the plug provided by the rocket kit. Finally, remove the launch safety cap.
