Landing an Ollie on a skateboard is a cool trick. Not only that, you’ll find that once you master this, you can combine it with others to make even more cool tricks. Consider this one of the backbones of skateboarding. Stand with one foot near the front of the skateboard and the other near the middle of the skateboard. Pop the front of your skateboard into the air by pressing down on your back foot. Move your front foot toward the front of the skateboard as you jump. This will help you even out your skateboard and allow you do land so that the skateboard is level. Make sure you land on the bolts or over the wheels of your skateboard as you land an Ollie because the area over the wheels is the strongest portion of your skateboard. If your back foot is on the tail when you land, there’s a good chance that you could crack the tail.
