Pull the inner most leaf out. If it comes out easily, then it’s ripe!

Try pulling out one of the leaves. If it’s ripe you shouldn’t have to pull very hard at all. Works for me every time.

by smell, if it has sweet/ strong pineapple smell the it should be good

Smell the bottom of it. If it smells stronger than the rest of it, then its ripe.

hit it with a tuning fork and if it resonates at A 440 then it’s ripe.
