The vaccine can be used as long as you follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for reconstitution and use. For example, MMR vaccine must be used within 8 hours of reconstitution and varicella vaccine must be used within 30 minutes of reconstitution. The manufacturer’s package insert provides very specific information regarding reconstitution, storage and handling.
