How Do You Knit Trinity Stitch Pattern?
Adding something new and different to your knitting repertoire can be fun and challenging. The trinity stitch pattern is a short repeating pattern that not only adds dimension to your work, but also is one that takes on a vastly different look depending on what gauge yarn you choose and what size needles you work with. Here are the steps to create the trinity stitch pattern. Check the gauge. Work the following rows into a small sample and measure your stitches. This assures you that your finished piece will not be too big or too small. Create row 1. Purl as many stitches as needed to get the width piece you need. Knit row 2 by knitting 1, purling 1, knitting 1 all into the same stitch then purling 3 stitches together. Repeat this pattern until the row is finished. Make the third row by purling across your work. Finish the pattern’s forth row by purling 3 stitches together, then knitting 1, purling 1 and knitting 1 all into the same stitch. Repeat this pattern to the end of the row.
