How Do You Kill Slugs With Natural Household Products?
Slugs invade your garden under the cover of darkness and can quickly destroy young plants. They are particularly fond of damp moist vegetation and may appear in droves on wet summer evenings. Check for slugs on damp evenings with a flashlight to get an idea of how many you are really dealing with. Once you have discovered them there are several ways you can kill them quickly without harsh chemicals to taint the environment. I must warn you, these techniques are not for the faint of heart. Fill a quart jar with a solution of 1/2 cup salt to 4 cups water. Mix to thoroughly dissolve the salt. Hand pick slugs from the garden and drop them in the salt water to kill them.
