How Do You Kill Fruit Flies Without Pesticides?

Oh, no! Your bananas have gone bad, and now you have a swarm of annoying fruit flies zooming around your kitchen. Fruit flies are a common nuisance wherever you store perishable foods, and they CAN be eradicated without harmful pesticides. Read on to learn how… Pour some cider vinegar into a tall drinking glass. Or, use 1/4 of wine, or some flat beer. Fruit flies are attracted to fermenting fruits and vegetables, so any sugary liquid will work. Cover the glass with a piece of plastic wrap. Use the rubber band to secure the wrap. Poke several holes into the wrap. The flies are really dumb. They will fly into the glass through the holes, but can’t get back out. Put one of these traps near the infestation. I’ve even set one of these traps in my sink to cure a bunch of flies that were hatching inside my drain. Use more than one at a time if you need to. Pretty soon (a few hours or so), you’ll have a glass full of flies. You can let them go outside, or…you can swish the liquid around in
