How Do You Kill Flies Without Using Chemicals Or Deadly Things?
I have an answer but it would not “kill” flies but in a way, I think it is an effective way for pest-control. There are these so called “juvenile hormones” that are used now in insecticides that are unharmful to humans. These hormones are naturally produced by the insects themselves. The action of the juvenile hormones is to prevent the complete metamorphosis of the insects. So, the insects will remain in its juvenile form even when it is already an adult (paedomorphism or neoteny). This would render the insect unharmful to humans (just like killing them, but in an indirect way). These juvenile hormones also prevent insects’ eggs from hatching.
