How Do You Keep Kids Busy On An International Flight?
Many families today are trading domestic destinations for more exotic vacations that require a lengthy plane ride. Keeping younger globe-trotters busy for hours as they fly with their families to far-flung places can be challenging. With a little preparation, however, kids can enjoy the “getting there” part as much as the “being there.” Involve your kids in the packing process. Half the fun of a vacation after all is the preparation. Let older kids, in particular, decide what books, games, and electronics they want to take to stay busy on the plane. Younger children such as toddlers will enjoy picture books, a special stuffed animal or blanket and favorite toys. For these little ones, having familiar things along for the flight is comforting.
