This has to be DISTILLED WATER — not Spring Water. Fill a small paper cup halfway with distilled water. Scoop your goldfish out of the bowl and put it in the paper cup. Rinse out the fishbowl and USE ONLY BAKING SODA to clean the bowl. No soap. Use paper towels to clean and dry. Fill the bowl three-quarters full of distilled water. Then gently pour in the fish.
