How Do You Jump-Start A Volvo S80?
There are few things worse than realizing your Volvo S80 won’t start because you left the lights on and drained the battery. However, with just a pair of jumper cables and another vehicle, your Volvo S80 can be back on the road in no time. Park the front of the donor vehicle’s car as close as possible to the front of the Volvo S80. Open the hood of the Volvo S80. The battery is in the front right compartment of the car, just behind the driver’s-side headlight. Locate the two terminals. Terminals are two round raised ends on the battery. The terminals will be located with a “+” for positive and a “-” for negative. Some aftermarket battery terminals can also be identified by the colors red (for positive) or black (for negative). It is important that you do not confuse the two terminals. Take two ends of your jumper cables and place the red clamp onto the positive terminal.
