• Make sure you’re running (at this time, anyway) firmware 3.1.2 by going to the Settings app on your iPhone/iTouch and then General–>About–>Version • Download blackra1n. (Windows | Mac) • Connect your iPhone/iTouch to your computer, using an Apple USB cable or dock connector (NOTE: the same way as you connect your device to sync music/videos/pictures) • Open blackra1n • There should only be ONE BUTTON, it says ‘make it ra1n’ • Click that button • Leave your iPhone/iPod Touch alone, all the work is being done for you • After it’s done (only takes about 2 minutes) there will be a blackra1n app on your device • Open the blackra1n app, and use it to install Cydia and/or Icy and/or Rock You’re Done!
