Now take the towel and rub it all over your old cat and leave the towel for her to sniff. Repeat Step 1, but vice-versa. Now both cats have had a chance to pick up on the scent of the other. Once the cats have had a chance to experience the new smells, put the kitten into a cat carrier and bring her to the old cat. Let them sniff each other through the cage and check each other out.
