Here’s a simple four part strategy that you can apply immediately. Establish rapport with the interviewer at all cost. Seems simple, but establishing rapport is a strategy in itself. Most of your energy should be focused on getting rapport with the interviewer, which involves listening much more than talking. Since establishing rapport is so important, I’m listing it as the second step as well.
