Finding a new job can often times be difficult, especially in the recent economy. So when you finally do find a company that wants to take the time to give you an interview, you’ll want to make sure you have the best interview possible to increase your chances of getting the job. That’s why I’ve put together the following easy to follow steps everyone should read before their next interview for a new job. Pre-Interview: • Be sure to forward your updated resume with cover letter to HR • Review your resume to assure you are able to discuss anything on it • Research the company and area you are apply for ahead of time (stock performance, company background, services, etc…) • Think a little about what specific skills you bring to the job Interview: • Thank the interviewer for taking the time to meet with you and discuss this potential opportunity • Discuss your past experience, major projects, and how you think you could fit the team • Ask follow-up questions where appropriate and make s
