How Do You Interpret Tea Leaf Reading Symbols?
Tasseomancy, the ancient art of reading tea leaves, is a form of divination which relies on interpreting abstract symbols formed by loose tealeaves in the bottom of a teacup. In a reading, the seeker interprets the symbols using intuition, memory association and common symbolic meanings and the timeline of the reading itself. Place loose tea leaves in the bottom of a light colored cup with a handle. Pour hot water over the leaves and allow the tea to steep. Make sure that you have a saucer for the teacup as well as a journal to write down any impressions during the reading. Drink the tea and clear your mind. Focus on any questions you have about the future, or on your life in general. Leave a small amount of tea in the bottom of the cup.
