Installing a set of wheel spacers on your Jeep Grand Cherokee will allow you to run a wider tire or custom wheels on your Jeep and prevent the tires from rubbing on the suspension and body under the wheel wells. There are several styles available on the market made from cast aluminum or machined aluminum. The style and brand you choose is up to you, but the machined spacers are by far the strongest spacers currently available. Follow along with the steps here to install wheel spacers on your Jeep. Raise the Jeep with a jack and support it under the frame with jack stands. Remove the wheels from the Jeep using a lug wrench. Install the wheel spacer on the Jeep by sliding the spacer over the wheel studs on the Jeep. Install the new lug nuts that came in the kit on the wheel studs and tighten them with a socket and ratchet. Torque the new lug nuts to the specification in your kit using your torque wrench.
