How Do You Install Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)?
The latest version of Ubuntu, the Linux-based OS, is a user-friendly system that even newbies can start mastering pretty fast. Installation of Ubuntu 9.04 can be carried out as follows. Download the Ubuntu installation files from its website for free, and then burn the same on a CD/DVD. The download may take a while, since the file is large. Reboot the computer, with the CD/DVD inserted in the correct drive. In case of some PCs, you may be prompted to press the F2, DEL buttons etc. during the boot process. Only then, will you be presented with the boot menu. Once you are presented with the boot menu, choose to boot from CD. Also, choose the language for Ubuntu.
