Track lighting has made a new comeback. With this change, more interior designers are including track lighting into their designs than ever before. You can install flexible track lighting yourself to update an outdated room, add a new lighting element into your design, or convert your fluorescent lights to new, flexible track lighting. Once the new flexible track lighting is installed you can move and change the way your room uses light by adjusting direction and color whenever you feel like a change. Disconnect the power to the room you will install flexible track lighting. Go to the utility box that contains the building’s electrical circuit breakers and move the breaker switch for that room from ‘on’ to ‘off’. Remove existing light fixtures that interfere with the path of the flexible track when installed onto the ceiling.
