How Do You Install The Windows 2000 Pro Operating System?
Microsoft released Windows 2000 Professional in the year 2000, just a few months after Windows Millennium Edition. Windows 2000 was built upon the code base of the popular Windows NT. Notable improvements over prior operating systems included support for a large number of Plug and Play devices and greater support for network and wireless devices. Although official Microsoft support for Windows 2000 ends in July 2010, users may still install and use the operating system. Back up any files you cannot afford to lose prior to installing Windows 2000. You can use a USB or external hard drive for this purpose.
