How Do You Install The Median Mod For “Diablo 2”?
Diablo 2 is one of the more enduring games Blizzard has created. Though not quite as popular as World of Warcraft, Diablo 2 has a strong fan base, and enough gameplay that people go back and keep playing it year after year. However, many people enjoy extending that gameplay by downloading mods. One of the best-known mods is called Median, which replaces every single skill in the game with new skills, changes the way items work, and generally revitalizes the entire game. Here’s how you can install that mod. Go to the Mods by Brother Laz website (see Resources below). This is the homepage for the Median Diablo 2 mod, and in addition to the download, contains an explanation of many of the changes this mod makes. Click on the link that says “Download this Mod,” and then click on one of the download mirror links, which appear at the top of the page, to download the file. Open your Diablo2 folder, and right-click on the file named “Diablo_II.MPQ.” You will need to rename this “OLDDiablo_II.M
