How Do You Install The Lexmark X73 Fax Machine?
The Lexmark X73 not only prints documents and images, but it also scans, copies and faxes both documents and images. Use a USB cable to connect the X73 to your computer and install the printer’s full software package. If you install only the essential software for printing, you will not be able to use the X73’s fax capabilities and other optional features. Go to Lexmark’s homepage and select your country from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner. On the page that appears, click on the link “Drivers & Downloads.” Select “Driver Finder” and type X73 in the blank search box, then press “Enter.” Select the operating system your computer is using. Click on “Full Software” under the “Drivers” section for the X73. Select “Download Now” and choose a destination for where to save the installation software. Double-click on the installation software’s icon, then click “Run.” Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer’s full software package.
