How Do You Install Terminal Services In Windows Professional 2000?

0

Windows 2000 provides users with Terminal Services. Terminal Services is the older name given to the Remote Desktop application, which is included with newer versions of Windows. The Terminal Services application allows administrators to remote control another machine on the network. Terminal Services is not included in the installation when you load Windows 2000 on the machine. Instead, you need to add the software using the Windows Control Panel. Click the Windows “Start” button and select “Settings.” Select “Control Panel” from the list of options. In the Control Panel, double-click “Add/Remove Software” to open the application. Click the “Add/Remove Windows Components” icon in the window that opens. This lists all the current components installed on the machine. Check the box labeled “Terminal Services,” and click the “OK” button. The software is installed onto your machine. Click the “Restart” button when prompted to reboot the machine.
