Submersible water pumps are versatile and can be used for everything from pumping well water for your home to creating a fountain in your yard or even a waterfall to decorate your pool landscape. A submersible water pump operates by sitting in the water at the lowest spot available and drawing the water through the bottom of the pump, pushing it through plastic tubing until it reaches the point where it is needed. Installing your submersible water pump is fairly easy to do, giving you the ability to move your water supply wherever you need or just use it to enhance your landscaping. Place a cinder block at the lowest point of your water feature and set the submersible pump on top of the block.
