How Do You Install Stacking Washer Dryers?
A stackable washer and dryer can make a huge difference, especially when you have a relatively small area for doing laundry. With today’s front-loading machines, it’s not uncommon that washers and dryers come with the ability to be placed side by side or stacked for added room. The nice thing about it is that many machines come with mounting brackets that are fairly easy to put on. Hook up your washer. That means attaching the power supply along with the water lines. Leave the washer at an angle from where it will be sitting, so that there is room to reach both sides of the back of the machine. With the assistance of a helper, lift the dryer up and set it on top of the washer. Don’t slide it around unless you have checked to make sure there are rubber feet on the bottom–you can damage the top of your washer. Attach the power supply and the vent hose to your dryer.
