HP laptops and PCs are shipped with the HP Recovery Manager. The HP Recovery Manager is an application that enables the user to recover and restore the computer from the recovery partition. The HP recovery partition is a section of the hard drive that contains operating system files, as well as drivers and programs installed by default.
