The nails around the shims should be cut at this point. Use a metal-cutting blade to clip the nails, then tip the door. Make shallow cuts by tipping down the saw. Remove the drywall between the studs and above the header. Take out the partition header, using a reciprocating saw to complete the process. Cut the studs.
