The side marker lights on your Nissan 350Z are part of the combination taillight assembly. The marker light illuminates when you turn on the parking lights of your car. Without the rear marker lights, your car is more difficult to see when you park in low light. If the marker light burns out on your 350Z, you can replace it in minutes at home. Buy a 168 bulb from an auto-parts retailer and replace the bulb in your own driveway. Open the trunk of your 350Z. Remove the three bolts from the top of the light assembly with a socket and ratchet. Pry the light assembly out away from the car with a flat-bladed screwdriver. Pull the light assembly out away from the rear of the car. Grasp the bulb socket closest to the outside edge of the 350Z’s light assembly. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it back out of the light. Pull the bulb out of the socket.
