How Do You Install Samsung CD-ROM SC-140 Drivers?
CD-ROM drivers are typically included with the operating system; about the only thing you can upgrade with a CD-ROM drive is firmware (the instructions the hardware uses to function internally). There are no specific drivers available for the Samsung SC-140, so you’ll need to reinstall the drivers through the operating system. This is a relatively simple process that should take you no more than 10 minutes. Open your “Start” menu and click “Control Panel.” If you don’t see it, look under “Settings.” Open “Device Manager.” Look for a category named “DVD/CD-ROM Drives” and click the “+” to open the list.
