Jeep Wranglers tend to take a lot of abuse when they go off-roading, and one of the ways to protect the lower half of the vehicle is with a set of rocker panels. They’re typically made of thick steel, making them less likely to get damaged when they hit a rock; plus they can add a beauty factor to the truck as well. Installing a set should take an hour or two, and you can do this with basic tools. Place the rocker panel onto the lower rocker area of the Jeep with the help of an assistant. While you hold it up, slide it back and forth on the rocker to make sure you mount it exactly the way it should be done. Mark the holes on the rocker panel using the permanent marker. This will show you where to drill the holes through the factory body. Remove the rocker panel, and drill the holes that you just marked using the drill and drill bits.
