How Do You Install Plastic Garden Edging?
Well maintained flower beds and gardens require that they are not overtaken by the neighboring grass. You can install plastic garden edging to keep your beds separate from the lawn. Plastic edging also keeps other landscaping elements, such as rockscapes, from spilling over into the lawn and into the path of lawn mowers. It adds a finished touch to your landscaping as well. Use the rototiller to dig a trench around your garden beds 8 inches deep and twice as wide as the thickness of the plastic edging. Place the edging upright into the trench. The bottom V shape is on bottom with the rounded part on top. Make sure the V faces into the garden bed. Only half the top circle should emerge from the soil once the edging is properly installed. Add additional lengths of edging using a connector. Slide the end of one length of edging into the first half of the connector, and the end of the next piece into the other half.
