PCMCIA USB cards are used to add additional USB ports to your HP Pavilion ZV6000. The HP Pavilion laptop comes with four USB 2.0 ports preinstalled but with a plethora of USB devices you may find yourself running out of open ports. Installing a PCMCIA USB card takes approximately five minutes. Insert the manufacturer’s installation disk into your HP Pavilion ZV6000. Click “Start,” “My Computer” then right-click your CD drive and choose “Run” if the disk does not autorun. Choose to install the drivers and any software packages that come with the PCMCIA USB card.
