Microsoft Works is a low-cost suite of productivity software included with many computers. Because Microsoft Works includes a spreadsheet program and a program for creating documents, you can install it on your Acer laptop as an alternative to the more expensive Microsoft Office suite and its Word and Excel software. Insert a Microsoft Works installation disc into your Acer laptop. After a few moments, the installation screen loads. Click “Next.” Click the “Change” button to select a target folder for Microsoft Works to be installed in. Alternatively, click “Next” to install Microsoft Works in the default folder.
