Windows 7 is now available and it is probably the easiest Windows version to install so far. The following shows how to install it on your PC. Please note that this is not a how to on upgrading an existing version of Windows such as XP or Vista. Back up any info on the Hard Drive that you are installing Windows 7 on. You can either burn it to a CD or DVD or move it to an External Hard Drive or USB Thumb drive. Generally all of your info will be found in my documents. Just copy the whole folder. If you have other files or folders that you save files to such as the Desktop, just drag them over as well. Check out the Resources section below for places you can purchase new Hard Drives, USB Thumb Drives and Windows 7. To install Windows 7, put the Windows 7 DVD in your DVD drive and if necessary, go to your BIOS settings or Boot Menu to make your PC boot from DVD Drive.
