How Do You Install Microsoft Office XP Professional?
Released in 2002, Microsoft Office XP Professional (also called Office 2002) is a software suite containing popular Microsoft productivity programs. Office XP Professional offers Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access. Before you can use any of the programs in Microsoft Office XP Professional, you must install all of the programs and update it to Service Pack 3 (SP3), which is the final update released for Office XP. Insert the installation CD and wait for the setup wizard to load. After you insert the installation CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive, a dialog box will appear prompting you to begin installation. If this dialog box does not appear, double-click your CD drive and explore the contents of the CD. Double-click the file called “setup.exe” to start installation. Select an installation type. In the setup wizard, click the “Next” button until the dialog box asks you to select an installation type. You must select either “Minimum,” “Typical” or “Advanced” installation. Alt
