How Do You Install Lowering Springs On A Dodge Neon R/T?
Lowering springs will greatly change your car’s appearance and handling. Stock Neon’s look like their rear end is up in the air – lowering springs will solve that. Replacing springs is a fairly big job. If you work on your own car and have basic wrenches and tools, you can handle this. If you’ve never worked on your car, this might be too big a job for you. Have it done professionally or get an experienced friend to help you out. SAFETY FIRST. Make sure your car is properly positioned on jack stands before working on it. Consult the owners manual for proper placement of the jack and jack stands. I won’t go into great detail about this job but the basic steps are as follows. NOTE: To make this job easier and eliminate the need for a spring compressor, you can replace the springs and struts at the same time with a strut assembly.
