How Do You Install Knoppix On A Laptop?
Knoppix is one of the most famous versions of Linux. Knoppix earned its fame for being one of the first well-known “live CDs.” A live CD is an operating system that can run from a CD without being installed on the computer. Although Knoppix is still a live CD today, you can also install it permanently and run it from the hard drive. If you are considering trying a Linux distribution, Knoppix is one distribution that you might enjoy using. Download the Knoppix installation disc from the official Knoppix website (see Resources). Click the “Download” link, and then select a download location. Burn the disc image to a blank disc using the disc-burning utility of your choice. In Windows 7, simply right-click the disc image, and then click “Burn Disc Image.” Boot the computer with the Knoppix disc inserted. The computer boots from the Knoppix disc. After a moment, a menu titled “ADRIANE” appears. Use the keyboard arrow keys to highlight “Setup,” and then press “Enter.” Highlight “Install Kno
