How Do You Install Internet Explorer On A Mac?
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer was the default Internet browser included on Mac computers from 1997 to 2001, when it was replaced by the Apple-created Safari browser. Microsoft’s last major update to Internet Explorer for Mac was in 2000. Support for Internet Explorer for Mac was cut off in 2005. A number of websites have the final release of Internet Explorer for Mac available for download. You can install the unsupported version of Internet Explorer on PowerPC or Intel Macs. Download Internet Explorer for Mac 5.2.3. (See Resources.) Double-click on the .dmg file to mount it on your Desktop. Double-click on the .pkg file to start the installer. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter an administrator password to install the program. Click “Close” when the prompt tells you the installation was successful.
