How Do You Install In Ground Swimming Pool Liners?
• Get template for liner measurement from pool supplier • Choose your liner color & pattern • Measure swimming pool for new liner and place order • Upon liner delivery drain pool • Inspect walls for rust or damage • Inspect floors for cracks or damage • Wash and broom pool from top to bottom • Vacuum pool floor and water that has collected • Install gaskets and screws • Tape seams in walls and coping • Hang liner • Install vacuum through skimmer behind liner • Position liner as air is removed from behind it • Shift liner to eliminate wrinkles • Begin adding water • Cut out main drains when there is 12″ of water • Fill to 18″ water in the shallow end • Remove vacuum and continue filling to returns • Install return gaskets and faceplaces • Fill pool to skimmer • Installer skimmer gasket and faceplate • Fill pool to halfway on skimmer mouth and start system Add chlorine shock Last edited: February 18, 2009 by Glutted Categories: Swimming Pools Spas and Hot Tubs Recent edits by: Anonymous
