How Do You Install HP 6980 Network Printer?
A network printer is just local printer that you have connected to a wireless network to enable wireless printing. This is especially helpful for printers like the HP Deskjet 6980 that do not have a built in wireless adapter. By networking the printer, you can now send it print jobs from any location within range of the wireless router without connecting to it physically. Use the Ethernet cable that came with your HP 6980 to connect the port in the back to one of the available ports in the back of the wireless router. Open the Start Menu on your computer. Click “Devices and Printers.” Click “Add a Printer.” Select the second option, which is to install a wireless, networked or Bluetooth printer to your computer’s settings.
