Follow these step-by-step instruction when installing Honeycomb shades or blinds. Step 1 Determine whether the blinds will be inside or outside mount. This refers to mounting the blind inside the window casing or outside the window casing. The blind may also be mounted from the ceiling. Step 2 Place the shade in the desired location, marking the outside corners of the top header with a pencil. Step 3 Measure approximately 3″ from the edge of the shade and place a mark with a pencil.
