How Do You Install Headlights & Fog Lights On An 04 Ford Mustang GT?
The 2004 Ford Mustang GT headlight and fog light bulbs have a limited lifespan and require replacement when they burn out. Burnt-out headlight and fog-light bulbs can pose a safety risk unless the bulbs are replaced immediately. Unlike with many car repairs, 2004 Ford Mustang GT owners can save time and money by replacing the bulbs themselves instead of taking the vehicle to a service center. Park the car on a level surface, ensure the headlight switch on the left side of the steering column is in the “Off” position and open the hood. Pull up on the two retaining pins behind the headlight assembly. The pins are used to hold the headlight assembly in the frame of the vehicle. Slide the headlight assembly forward out of the frame and pull the electrical connector off the back of the headlight bulb. Twist the plastic headlight bulb retaining ring to the left, pull it off of the headlight assembly and then pull the headlight bulb out of the assembly. Discard the old headlight bulb. Insert
