Installing them can be quite tricky and challenging, especially if you don’t have access from above a ceiling, such as an attic, but it’s not impossible. Installing halogen recessed lighting is actually a simple do it yourself home project. Tools and materials: o Halogen recessed lighting fixture o 14/3 electrical wire o Drill o Dry wall saw o Pliers (for stripping wire) o Stud finder or wire coat hanger o Wire nuts Step 1: Decide where you want to place your halogen recessed lighting. Step 2: If you don’t have access from above the ceiling, you will need to use the stud finder to establish the location of ceiling joists and how they run within the ceiling.
