How do you install halo headlights for a 96 jetta?
They should be plug and play as far as all the basic headlight functions go. On some halo headlights with remote ballasts or light sources, you need to tap into the (+) line going to the parking lights, and connect this to the source of light for the halo itself. Many of these style headlights are plug and play without any extra splicing, however. As far as the physical installation, you will have to remove the bumper by removing the screws and bolts holding it in place, including those found under the upper radiator grill. With all the screws removed the bumper cover will pull straight off. With the bumper off you can access the two lower screws holding each headlight in place.
